I'm raising money to support MND Australia
In Memory of Chris Dufton
This page has been created in loving memory of our colleague, friend, and much-loved member of the ScotPac family, Chris Dufton.
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Chris after a courageous battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived, the impact he made, and the countless people he inspired along the way.
Chris joined ScotPac New Zealand in December 2011 and went on to build an exceptional career spanning more than a decade. Through his professionalism, dedication, and leadership, he helped shape our business and earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike. In 2023, he played a pivotal role in establishing our SME division as its inaugural Business Operations Manager, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to influence the business today.
But Chris was far more than his achievements. He was the person who could make people laugh when they needed it most, who remained calm under pressure, and who faced every challenge with humility, courage, and an unwavering sense of optimism. Even after his diagnosis, Chris continued to inspire those around him with his resilience, humour, and strength.
A proud New Zealander, Chris loved sport, good banter, and fiercely supporting his favourite teams. Whether celebrating the All Blacks, backing the Black Caps, or proudly cheering on his beloved Warriors, Chris brought energy, laughter, and connection wherever he went.
Most importantly, Chris was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, son, and friend. He adored his wife Nikki, his daughter McKinley, and his two stepdaughters, speaking of them with immense pride and love.
In honour of Chris, we are raising funds for Motor Neurone Disease organisations in Australia and New Zealand. Every donation helps support research, advocacy, care, and services for individuals and families impacted by this devastating disease.
Chris's legacy lives on through the relationships he built, the people he inspired, and the difference he made in so many lives. We invite you to join us in celebrating his life and honouring his memory through your support.
Thank you for helping us continue Chris's fight against MND and create hope for others facing the same journey.
Forever remembered. Forever missed. Forever part of the ScotPac family.
Rest in peace, Chris.

I'm proud to support this cause in memory of Chris and my Aunty Marg, who lost her battle with MND four years ago. MND is a devastating and cruel disease that has a profound impact on patients and their families. Here's hoping that increased awareness and funding will help drive the research needed to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent this heartbreaking disease.
