Ride for Mick – MND Research

On 21 October, myself and 3 mates ware setting off on our bikes, riding to the MotoGP before spending a further 5–6 days exploring the Victorian High Country, before making our way back to Newcastle.

This ride has taken on a much deeper meaning, after recently learning that a great mate of mine, Mick Lewis, has been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND, an insidious and devastating disease that continues to affect far too many families.

We’ve decided to use our ride to raise funds for MND research, in the hope that our efforts can help contribute to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

If you’re able to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter how large or small, can make a difference and help support vital research towards a future without MND.

If donating isn’t possible, that’s completely understandable. Simply sharing this post on your social media and helping us spread the word would mean just as much. The more people we can reach, the greater the awareness and support for MND research.

A special shout out to another friend in Queensland doing it tough as well.

We’re also riding in memory of Jacko and Wacka, two great blokes who were both taken far too soon by MND.
