Karlee & Ali 12km CITY TO BAY

It doesn’t discriminate anyone can get it, any age, any sex. It’s nasty, and incurable, it affects not only the person with MND but also all the loved ones. I’ve seen how devoted the loved ones are when they get diagnosed, the pure strength of them, to get out of bed every morning knowing that it their loved one has a terminal diagnosis, it still amazes me after 15 years in palliative care, not only the strength of the loved ones but of the people with it, I’ve laughed with them, Ive cried with them it truely is a privilege to look after them and do the work I do. So I couldn’t think of another fundraiser I would like to do to push me to the 12km finish line, for all the people with MND who cannot do all the things that we take for granted everyday, so I am doing it for them for the beautiful souls that I’ve looked after that have passed and for the ones who I still look after.
